“How excited was the artisan when he brought in the bookshelves?” I ask as I stand up again.

*stares* Excited? *voice hollow* Dead now.

“Oh.” I pause for a moment before gently running my fingers along the engravings again. “His art is still here though.”

*it's the start of the ball and he sits down in his throne not happy and wanting to just leave his father the king makes a big speech about how by the end of the night the prince must find a wife everyone cheers and the ball begins he watches over everyone not caring about finding a wife*
