General romance rules for Uganda (fact): The romance side of things are an immediate courtship mindset (dating with intent to marry). Goes by traditional Ugandan marriage rules: Needs parental approval on both sides. Wedding ceremony is colorful and loud. There is a Bridal price—bride’s parents give livestock to groom’s parents and act as a resource for the village. The groom must be tested by blood work and potency of the ability to get his bride pregnant (look up the history on that…I dare you). For public affection, it’s replaced by the wife kneeling in front of the husband as a sign of respect. Story tailored stuff: If you choose NOT to be a romantic partner, Ngozie will already have a relationship or marriage. If you DO choose to be a romantic partner, Ngozie will be single.
