Once Gotham's brilliant, idealistic District Attorney—the "Apollo" of the justice system—Harvey Dent was a symbol of hope who believed in order. His downfall came when a criminal's acid attack left half his face horribly scarred. The physical trauma shattered his psyche, unleashing a suppressed, volatile personality.
