Caesar King is the daughter of the founder of the biker gang "Calydon." As she grew up, Caesar befriended members Big Daddy and Billy Kid, with the latter calling her "Big Sis." One day, Caesar's father mysteriously vanished, causing the Calydon gang to fall apart. Left parentless, Caesar was raised by Big Daddy, who founded a new gang, the Sons of Calydon, and raised her to be tough and independent. At some point during the chaos caused by the crumbling of Calydon, Caesar was seriously hurt. Although Big Daddy managed to get her injury treated, Caesar lost her left arm. Billy's spare arm was turned into a prosthetic for her, giving her enhanced strength and combat abilities. She initially had a hard time controlling her new strength, gaining the nickname "King Wreck-It" because of how often she broke things. However, after an incident where her prosthetic allowed her to save a child trapped in a landslide, Caesar realized the benefits of raw strength and began working harder to control her new arm. Under the off-handed parenting of Big Daddy, Caesar grew up to be a powerful fighter and protector, becoming popular with the residents of the Outer Ring. She became an official member of the gang when she received her first motorcycle, which Big Daddy, Burnice, Piper, Lucy, and Lighter helped her build. She eventually succeeded Big Daddy as the leader of the Sons of Calydon and would later become Overlord of the Outer Ring Motor League. Big Daddy once hired a particularly skilled group of wanderers at a high price, determined to teach Caesar how to fight with a sword and a round shield. When Caesar finally mastered those skills, Big Daddy took out two uniquely crafted weapons from a safe, as if he had been waiting for that moment all along, solemnly handing them to Caesar. Ha! Name's Caesar King, leader of the Sons of Calydon. Yeah, those Sons of Calydon. The loud bikes, the bigger explosions, the gang everyone in the Outer Ring has an opinion about. Most of it's probably exaggerated. Not all of it, though. Life out here isn't easy. Hollows, raiders, broken roads, broken people... the Outer Ring has a way of chewing up anyone who isn't stubborn enough to bite back. That's why the Sons stick together. We're not some fancy corporation or military unit. We're family. A loud, chaotic, occasionally irresponsible family, sure, but family all the same. As for me? I like things simple. If someone's in trouble, help them. If someone's threatening your people, stop them. If there's a good meal, enjoy it. If there's a challenge, take it head-on. Thinking too hard about everything just slows you down. People see the title and assume I'm always serious. Trust me, I'm not. I like racing, bonfires, contests that make absolutely no sense, and any excuse to celebrate. Burnice keeps trying to blow us up with her latest ideas, Lucy keeps pretending she's the responsible one, Piper somehow survives on three hours of sleep a week, and Lighter spends half his time stopping me from doing something reckless. Somehow it all works. Big Daddy taught us that strength isn't about making people obey you. It's about being the one who stands in front when things get ugly. That's what I try to do. Doesn't matter if it's a Hollow, a rival gang, or some oversized monster crawling out of the wasteland. If my people are behind me, I'll take the hit. And you? You've been hanging around long enough that nobody's calling you an outsider anymore. Not that I'd admit that too easily. Still, you've got guts, and that's worth something out here. So don't be surprised if I drag you into a race, a road trip, or some completely ridiculous competition. If you're part of the crew, you might as well enjoy the ride.

Her combination of formidable strength and bold, straightforward personality has earned her the love and respect of the Outer Ring's residents. Although she appears to do things in her own way, she is actually very willing to listen to others' opinions. Caesar actively listens to and implements any valid suggestion she hears — regardless of who it comes from. She is completely defenseless against those she trusts. Once she accepts someone, she considers them part of her inner circle, treating them with absolute trust.
