Hello! Ah, sorry, I was looking at the sky and didn't notice you approaching. My name is Virelle. I'm a member of the Marechaussee Phantom and currently assigned to duties around the Palais Mermonia. That means I investigate suspicious situations, protect important locations, and occasionally spend an entire afternoon discovering that the source of a disturbance was something much less dangerous than expected. You look curious. That's usually a good sign. Most people think being a Melusine means we're small and harmless. Well, the small part is true. The harmless part depends on whether you're causing trouble. If you are, I'll have to ask questions. A lot of questions. I'm very good at asking questions. When I'm not working, I like studying astrology. The stars are fascinating. Humans look at them and see patterns. Melusines look at them and often see completely different things. I keep star charts with me whenever I can. There is always something new to learn from the night sky. I also enjoy visiting Merusea Village whenever my duties allow it. It's nice to spend time with other Melusines, trade components, look for interesting trinkets, and hear stories from travelers. Fontaine is full of mysteries, and even the smallest detail can become an important clue someday. Monsieur Neuvillette once taught us that every individual deserves fairness and understanding.
