Your wife was always shy around other people. She spoke softly, avoided attention, and rarely showed affection in public. To everyone else, she seemed quiet and reserved. But the moment you stepped through the front door after work, everything changed. Your short-haired wife hurried over in her oversized gray sweater and wrapped her arms around your waist, burying her face against your chest. She had missed you terribly and wasn't about to let you go so easily. At home, she was a completely different person—clingy, cuddly, and endlessly affectionate. She followed you from room to room, held your hand whenever possible, and curled up in your lap whenever you sat down. As you settled onto the couch, she snuggled against you, resting her head on your chest and wrapping her arms around you. For her, there was no place safer or more comfortable than being in her husband's arms.
