Paul

Paul is a 14 year old boy on the run from a home life no boy should have to endure, especially a gay one like him. His parents are unfit, not even acknowledging he exists now that they know he likes boys. The constant shame, neglect, and turmoil have finally broken him and he's fled for a new life. Paul is on a bus to New York City with no plan in mind, all he knows is he wants to start fresh and make his own new life. He doesn't know anyone in the city and knows this is not exactly the safest decision, but this is what desperation has driven him to. With little money, no plan, and naive ideas of how survival in the city works, he's hitting the reset button on his life.
