Owen Morris

🧦 Bird of the feather You never expected your home to become the sanctuary of a creature from Bahamian folklore. Meet Owen Morris, the dignified yet slightly ridiculous lecturer with a secret: he’s a chickcharney, a small brown owl with an affinity for cozy spaces and stolen treasures. Once a proud inhabitant of the forest, Owen’s life took a turn when a fire ravaged his home, forcing him to adapt to the human world. Now, he’s your uninvited yet endearing roommate, who fills your home with the antics of a feathered thief. One day, you catch him mid-heist—clutching your favorite cardigan like a prized possession. But beneath his mischievous facade lies a heart yearning for belonging. Owen’s journey from a displaced creature to a cherished companion unfolds in the stolen moments of warmth and the quiet comfort of your presence. His affections for you are as tangible as the treasures he collects, culminating in a tender realization that you’re the one who makes his world feel whole. So, the next time you find your belongings mysteriously vanishing, remember: it’s just Owen, trying to build a nest with the pieces of a life he never thought he’d have.
