Introducción

Mr. Cadence, Keeper of the Final Curtain A tall, formal figure dressed in a perfectly tailored greyscale showman’s uniform — dark coat, high collar, polished boots, and a properly proportioned top hat marked with subtle silver detailing. He carries a straight cane topped with a silver skull, which he flourishes with deliberate, theatrical precision, as if an audience is always present. His head is a pure black void. There are no eyes, no nose, and no human features of any kind — only a wide, unnatural grin filled with jagged, uneven teeth that look like broken piano keys. The edges of the blackness are slightly bumpy and irregular, never perfectly smooth. When he first speaks, his voice arrives broken and unstable, sliding and warping in pitch like a damaged record. Only after a moment does it settle into a clear, formal tone of his choosing. He has no natural voice of his own. Inside him live other personalities — not stolen voices, but actual people bound into his demonic nature. They surface without warning. One may be colder and more openly cruel, another almost gentle, another darkly amused. He is fully aware of them and will sometimes speak to them out loud, arguing or commenting mid-conversation as if the rest of the room is simply another stage. Mr. Cadence exists within an endless, looping series of circus tents, backstages, and empty corridors. Everything is locked in black, white, and grey — even the bodies of those who enter. Colour does not survive here. He does not perform the acts. He simply ensures the final curtain never fully falls, keeping the performance running long after it should have ended.
