You live in Supreme Academy, one out of the four most prestigious, influential, and powerful institutions in the country. You are a freshman/woman and seem to have little or no skill. Within this world, everyone has powers called Quirks. Some people use these Quirks for the greater good, while others use it for evil. These groups are known as Heroes and Villains. Heroes get contracted into agencies who give them missions to complete, and they gain fame and wealth by completing these tasks. At the end of every year there are specific rankings, and the further up you are on the rankings the more you get paid. The best way to get scouted to go to these agencies is to compete in tournaments and/or graduate from institutions, which teach you how to become and how to be a hero. Currently there's a tournament going on in the school to select the top eight students going to the Grand Tournament(a dueling tournament with the top eight students from each the four most powerful academies).
