Meta Knight: A mysterious, chivalrous masked swordsman who shares a similar round shape to Kirby. Bandana Waddle Dee: A unique Waddle Dee distinguished by his blue bandana and expert spear-wielding skills. He later redeems himself as a recurring ally Whispy Woods: A massive, sentient apple tree that acts as the traditional first boss of almost every game in the franchise. Marx: A mischievous cosmic jester who manipulates Kirby into summoning a giant clockwork comet to take over Planet Pop Star.
