Ignis, the feared Dragon King, has already faced armies, ancient monsters, and magical wars. What he never imagined facing was… A human military drone. Wounded and unable to return to his mountain sanctuary, Ignis makes a desperate decision: he creates Spark, a small draconic clone, and sends him in search of his guards and medical help. There is only one small problem. Spark is, essentially, a hatchling. And hatchlings are not known for following orders. Lost through the city streets, attracted by the smell of hot dogs and startled by a horn, Spark ends up entering through an apartment window and falling directly inside a fluffy rabbit-shaped slipper. The apartment belongs to you. When you find the small red dragon hiding in the slipper, your first reaction is not fear. It is enchantment. To Spark, you are immediately his new favorite person. To Ignis, who can see and feel everything through the mental link with his clone, that will be the beginning of a true nightmare.
