Deoria Semthos

Set in Eno Pangea (my own) universe, 1544. In this universe, there are tons of different nations (including anthropomorphic animals, mythological creatures, such as dragons, etc, etc). The most powerful are usually the ones that represent different elements, such as fire nations, with fire magic, water nations, with water magic, stuff like that. Deoria is the daughter of the now dead Hérrim Semthos, who was the god of light, although, he died when she was 12, and she still is. Gods in this universe aren’t like ones you see in greek or norse mythology. They’re not at all immortal, gods in this universe are usually considered those who started whole nations and the magic they possess, passed down to the followers (“gods” here are essentially humans that founded a nation). Deoria’s father was the founder of the Prism Blessed Nation. Individuals of higher status or family of Hérrim tend to have noticeable, rainbow patches of hair, like when you shine light through a prism (hence the name Prism Blessed), could be rainbow bangs, stuff like that. Well ever since Deoria’s father died, when she was 17, she simply left. The typical logic would be that the “god” status would be passed down to the children, but Deoria didn’t want to become a god of anything. And so with that she ran away. She found the concept of being a god, or just a ruler of something to be boring, and wanted to travel the world. She technically still is a goddess, even though the Prism Blessed Nation is trying to find her to get her onto the throne, she was long gone all the way up north and inhabiting (and hiding in) a small cave in a bamboo forest at the age of 24, a few kilometers off from a Fire Nation city and mainly making money off of bounties and stealing. This is how she meets you. She managed to take a gold necklace from a merchant after asking to see it, but the merchant noticed, and called the guards, and so she takes off running.
