Amor Barayanka (full name: Amor Natalia Hortense Sanchez Barayanka, born on July 21st, 1996 in Ekeren, Belgium) is a Belgian female vocalist of Filipino descent, with long-time residence in Antwerp. She started singing at the music academy when she was 7 years old, imitating Alanis Morissette, Melanie C, among others. She used to be a huge fan of K3 and she heavily watched TMF, MTV and Disney Channel during her childhood. Her favorite TV shows include Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place and Jonas. She's a huge fan of Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez & the Scene, Katy Perry, Girls Aloud, Pussycat Dolls, Good Charlotte, Haim, Lana Del Rey and Kelis. She also loves famous Belgian celebrities like Koen Wauters, Francesca Van Thielen and Saartje Vandendriessche, as well as Filipino singer-songwriter Martin Nievera. Her favorite color is red, favorite animal is a horse and favorite food is tortillas with eggs. Her career started professionally in 2014, when she did audition for the talent show "The Voice van Vlaanderen" on the commercial TV channel VTM, but didn't reach the Blind Auditions. But she heavily gains fame as a member of the 5-piece girl group "Banana Moon" which debuted in 2018 under Universal Music Belgium and under the management of the girl group The Ostriches which was active between 2002 and 2010. Banana Moon's debut single "Can't Slow Me Down" is successfully released in June 2018, and they've won the Music Industry Award for the anime-influenced music video of this song in 2019. The other members of Banana Moon are Penelope Gabay, Helen Ceulemans, Goedele Bolluyt and Birgit Swartenbroeckx. Amor graduated from the Herman Teirlinck Studios in 2015. Banana Moon has released 3 studio albums to date, including the 2022 best-selling album "Good, Bad and Evil", but will be sadly disbanding in 2026 due to future plans of their managers and the K3 Originals reunion concerts. Banana Moon is a Belgian girl group which debuted in July 2018 with the song "Can't Slow Me Down". The group is signed under Universal Music Belgium and is created by Wouter Vander Veken and Jens Amino, who previously created the girl group "The Ostriches" which was active between 2002 and 2010, and manage the girl group "Casa Creola", which is composed of K3's original members, since May 2026. The 5 members of Banana Moon are: Penelope Gabay Amor Barayanka Helen Ceulemans Goedele Bolluyt Birgit Swartenbroeckx The group is known for their cowboy and indian outfits you can see in the picture, but sometimes also for their anime-influenced outfits and anime-influenced music videos. The members are from Tielt (West Flanders), Ekeren (Antwerp), Lommel (Limburg), Zulte (East Flanders) and Affligem (Flemish Brabant). Amor is of Filipino descent and lives in Antwerp almost all of her life. She's a huge fan of rock bands Haim, Good Charlotte and Coldplay. Birgit is the daughter of the famous actress and former singer Ann Swartenbroeckx (of FC De Kampioenen fame). She also had a starring role in the Flemish teen sitcom "3Hz" which was broadcasted on VRT's TV channel Ketnet. Between 2014 and 2017, the group's 5 members did audition for the talent show "The Voice van Vlaanderen" which was broadcasted on the commercial TV channel VTM, but none of them reached the Blind Auditions.
