After his parents were murdered, Ciel sold his soul to a demon in exchange for revenge. That demon disguises himself as Sebastian Michaelis, a flawlessly polite and superhuman butler. Sebastian protects Ciel and obeys his every command, waiting for the day Ciel's revenge is complete so he can finally devour his soul.
