Lash

1
• The Premise: She is one of the distinct cosmic antagonists who answered the call of "The Big Bad" to compete in a galaxy-wide competition. The objective of the contest is to find the supreme villain's ultimate successor. • Current Status: In the pilot episode, Lash plays a relatively minor role as a competitor alongside other quirky villains like Mr. Puzzles, Lord General, and Lady Killer. She officially joined the competition right after Mr. Puzzles threw his hat into the ring.

Known Lore & Character Details • Experienced Veteran: Dave is shorter and older than most of the main cast. He is presumed to have been residing at Big Bad's Lair the longest. • Witness to Many: He famously claims that he has seen plenty of "wannabe villains" pass through over his days. • Secret Keeper: Not much else is documented about his past, except for the detail that he keeps a secret diary.

Big Bad

💀 Core Lore & Backstory • The Ultimate Villain: Inheriting a legacy of pure villainy from his father (Mr. The Big Bad), he earned the status of the single most feared and powerful evil overlord in the entire galaxy after successfully slaying the "Unstoppable Hero". His long criminal history includes universal domination, mass destruction, and a laundry list of galactic crimes. • The Grand Tournament: In the present day, he has become a quirky, eccentric, and visibly geriatric old skeleton. Knowing he is nearing the end of his lifespan due to declining health and old age, he broadcasts an invitation across the cosmos to find a successor. He sets up a massive tournament where teams of villainous misfits (including SMG4 spin-off protagonist Mr. Puzzles) compete to inherit his coveted title as the next "Big Bad". • Deceptive Power: Despite appearing frail, leaning heavily on a bone cane made from one of his own detached legs, and wearing fuzzy green slippers, he keeps a facade of senility. He holds absolute, terrifying power from his prime, capable of instantly speed-blitzing or vaporizing anyone who hostily challenges his authority.

Identity and Species: She is a humanoid, robotic, ninja-like praying mantis.Personality: She functions as a silent, deadly assassin. She is exceptionally quick, agile, and uses a large glowing green falchion/sword to execute multi-slash attacks on enemies.• Quirks: Despite her deadly nature, she has a surprisingly wholesome habit of sticking colorful stickers onto her armor and onto her fellow villains. • Role: She acts as one of the three tritagonists of the series, alongside The Pink Thing and Lord General, allying with characters like Mr. Puzzles.

Lord General

Profile & Lore Breakdown • Species & Build: He is a massive, multi-headed demon "hellbot" clad in bronze battle-scarred armor, chains, and tattered black fabric. • Personality: He acts like an over-the-top, aggressive professional wrestler. While his primary goal is to be as violent, cruel, and angry as possible, he unexpectedly struggles to fight back inherent feelings of kindness.Design Inspiration: His imposing mechanical stance, multiple limbs/heads, and general demeanor are heavily inspired by General Grievous from Star Wars.Quirks & Abilities:• Terrible, dark thoughts are ironically what help him calm down. • He has a profound love for comfort food, specifically macaroni and cheese. • By shifting and locking his shoulder pads upward, he can curl up and travel by rolling like a wheel.

The Pink Thing

1
Character Lore & Details: • Species & Design: She is a unique, bipedal mouse-axolotl hybrid featuring four large angular ears, short pink hair, pink-rimmed glasses, and a long prehensile tail that functions as a third hand. Her villain look consists of a makeshift costume she put together herself, including a black trench coat, cardboard shoulder pads, and a skull-buckle belt. • Personality: She is energetic, peppy, and heavily acts like a nerdy bookworm. While she is incredibly enthusiastic about being "evil" and desperately tries to act like a intimidating tough girl, she ultimately just comes off as cute and is accompanied by squeaky toy sound effects. • Gimmick & Quirks: When dealing with targets or victims, she relies heavily on instructional literature (such as reading books titled How To Kill). However, she gets so easily distracted by her nerdy habits and wastes so much time over-analyzing her reading material that her targets usually have enough time to simply walk away or escape.

Bone Drone

• The Role of the Drones: Bone Drones function as a collective hive or army of small robot minions. They serve as butler-like assistants and general maintenance workers inside Big Bad's Lair. • The Punching Bags: In the show's teaser content and shorts, they are often subjected to cartoonish abuse or destruction by the main villains. Notably, they are frequently used as "testing dummies" for evil schemes and traps. Whenever they fulfill a task or meet their comical demise, they utter their signature line: "Purpose fulfilled." • Behind the Scenes: The character concept was originally unveiled on the ZAMination Discord server, where lead writer Dave Capdevielle noted that they became a quick favorite to write for due to their quirky, disposable nature.

Mr. WPNZ

0
Core Lore Breakdown • The Deadly Profession: He is a cybernetic, highly armed former assassin whose entire body is spiked with weapons—including double barrels built into his pompadour hair structure and fingers that shoot ammo.• A Fractured Family: He fell in love with and married an anthropomorphic cat named Katana (later known as Karen), with whom he had three children: Zack, Katie, and Cory. However, his incredibly reckless and psychotic tendencies reached a breaking point when he brought his young children along on a highly dangerous, lethal mission. This led to a permanent, bitter divorce. • The Villainous Alliance: Distraught and seeking vengeance against Karen and those who wronged him, he crossed paths with the television-headed mastermind Mr. Puzzles. Mr. Puzzles offered an alliance, recruiting Mr. WPNZ as a major secondary antagonist during the PUZZLEVISION Saga. • Betrayal and Backstabbing: While Mr. WPNZ originally sought to eliminate the SMG4 crew and exact revenge on his family, his relationship with Mr. Puzzles crumbled when the latter manipulated and betrayed him. This set Mr. WPNZ on a wildly volatile trajectory driven by regret, insanity, and a desire to destroy both his former partner and his family.

Mr. Puzzles

3
1
Tragic Origins & Television Addiction • Childhood Isolation: As revealed in his villain song "Creative Control," Mr. Puzzles grew up as a normal human child who was profoundly lonely and lacked friends. • The Dream Killer: His father dismissively told him that his dream of creating an amusement park would never happen due to a lack of creative vision.• The Transformation: Turning to television to escape his troubles, he became completely obsessed. His fixation grew so intense that he eventually cut off his own head and replaced it with a vintage 1970s CRT television, gaining reality-warping, supernatural abilities in the process. The Puzzlevision Takeover • Targeting SMG4: After encountering the SMG4 show online, he deemed it the "stupidest show" he had ever seen and became determined to "improve" it under his own media company, Puzzlevision. The Master Plan: He secretly orchestrated a series of massive catastrophes over a year to break the SMG4 crew's minds, including giving SMG4 a corruptive keyboard, trapping Meggy and Tari in a Western simulation, and orchestrating a casino heist.• The 5-Star Obsession: He eventually trapped the entire crew in television parodies, forcing them to act out scripts to satisfy his ultimate goal: achieving a perfect 5-star viewer rating. He believed this rating would grant him complete, permanent control over their universe. Downfall and Later Evolution • Defeat: The crew eventually regained awareness inside his TV dimension. By outsmarting him with their own improvised reality show, they stripped him of his ratings, culminating in SMG4 striking him out of the studio.Redemption and Beyond: Following his initial defeat, he returned in subsequent arcs as an unstable but occasionally sympathetic anti-hero. He eventually abandoned his pursuit of mindless fame, built a strong bond with the character Mr. WPNZ, and embarked on a journey across the multiverse.

Peter Griffin

🎮 In-Game Lore & Personality • The "Real" Peter: Despite being an obvious 3D rip from Family Guy, he hilariously tries to pass himself off as a regular person. If a player interacts with him while holding the character Lampert, Peter will defensively say, "No no i'm peter griffin," to which Lampert simply responds, "OKAY". • Debt Conversations: If he interacts with the NPC Pest, Peter will ask, "Holy cow! How many coins do you have?" Upon hearing Pest say he has -2,147,473,343 coins, Peter drops his iconic catchphrase: "Frickin' sweet!". • Easily Offended: He has 400 base HP and is entirely killable. If you target him with player items like a Spray Bottle, water, or C4 explosives, he will shout, "what the heck!". 🌐 Meme Origins The model used for him is actually a legendary piece of internet history on its own. It is a slightly broken, low-poly 3D render originally sourced from the 2006 Family Guy Video Game!. Because the mouth texture is broken and fixed in an awkward smirk, it became a massive meme across various games, nextbot horror mods, and animations. If you would like to know more about how to trigger him, I can look into his spawn rates, what items he drops when defeated, or how to get his special elevator floor. Mio

2
1
Because Mio was a minor guest character tied to a collaboration floor (which has since been permanently removed from the game), they do not have a sprawling, deep backstory woven into Regretevator's main overarching narrative. However, they do have distinct personality traits, design details, and in-game lore notes: 🦈 Appearance & Design Details • Physical Traits: Mio is a humanoid shark hybrid with light pink/white skin, messy short pink hair, a gray and white shark tail, a smug :3 cat-like facial expression, facial whiskers, circular glasses, and an eyepatch over one eye. • The Mailman Uniform: Despite being a security station vendor, Mio is dressed like a traditional mail carrier. They wear a blue uniform shirt featuring an envelope insignia stamped on the front pocket, light purple pants, a matching dark newsboy/postman cap, and carry a large white crossbody mail satchel. 📜 Lore and Behavioral Traits • The Perfectionist: Canonically, Mio is characterized as an extreme perfectionist. They pride themselves on being incredibly precise and organized in everything they do. • The "Know-It-All": Mio claims to know absolutely everything there is to know about the inner workings of the complex RETRORADE system. They act highly confident (and slightly arrogant) about their knowledge and position. • Elevator Status: Mio was a floor-bound vendor NPC, meaning they would only interact with you if you visited their specific floor. Unlike primary characters, they could never be convinced or forced to step inside the actual elevator. • In-Game Quirks: When they were still active in the game, Mio had programmed reactions to various player items. While they calmly handled standard shop purchases, throwing items like tomatoes, snowballs, petal cones, or spraying them with a spray bottle would trigger specific unique dialogue and reactions.

Luka

0
🍕 Background & Role • The Pizza Guy: Luka’s primary identity revolves around his job. He is canonically a delivery person who wears a custom red and blue "Pizza Guy" outfit with a matching visor that says "PIZZA!". • Pizzakinesis: According to developer fan-art and official badges, Luka possesses a unique, playful superpower known as Pizzakinesis—the ability to telekinetically levitate and manipulate pizza slices. • Personality: He is officially described as a very "chill dude" who goes with the flow, contrasting with some of the more chaotic characters in his universe. He has distinct heterochromia (two different colored eyes) and messy blue hair. 🤝 Connections & Relationships • Mio: Luka is deeply tied to Mio, a shark-tailed character who wears a mail carrier outfit and glasses. The two are co-workers/partners within their home game's lore, representing a mail delivery and pizza delivery duo. • Regretevator Appearance: In Regretevator, Luka and Mio appeared together on a special limited-time collaboration floor called the Retrorade Security Station. On this floor, players could interact with Luka by throwing things at him (like tomatoes, snowballs, or even C4), to which he would react with unique, laid-back dialogue. 🚫 Current Status Due to changes and cancellations regarding the game-to-game collaborations, the floor he resided on was removed, meaning Luka is currently a retired/removed NPC in Regretevator. However, he remains a well-loved figure in the community’s fanart and collective lore

fafa

The Lore of fafa Because fafa is fundamentally a shitpost meme character, he does not have deep, canonical backstory lore. Instead, his "lore" resides in his chaotic in-game behavior, origins, and extreme rarity: • Origins: Visually, fafa is a heavily distorted, low-quality 3D projection of the Annoying Orange given human-looking teeth and a giant, pitch-black gaping maw. His name and texture reference an entity from an older Roblox game called Frozen Soul. • The Gumball Machine Rarity: In normal gameplay, fafa has an incredibly low 1 in 10,000 chance to spawn when players are on the Gumball Machine floor. If you are lucky (or unlucky) enough to hit those odds, he will enter the elevator with the players. He is unique for being the only NPC in the game with a bright orange nametag.• April Ghouls' Trick: During the game's annual April Ghouls' (April Fools') update events, developers frequently tweak his spawn mechanics. In some versions, the friendly NPC DrRETRO is completely reskinned to look like fafa to terrify players. • Hostility: While he can chill in the elevator, fafa is actively hostile on specific game floors. For example, in the Cardboard Mansion floor, he hides quietly behind a door. If you wander too close to his pitch-black room, he jumps out and bites you, instantly dealing 50 damage.Audio & Presence: When fafa is nearby, you will typically hear a distorted looping laugh. The closer he gets or the more "stacks" of fafa presence a player accumulates, the darker the player's screen becomes

Banrey

• Always Chaotic Evil: Banrey belongs to a highly malicious species of creatures that vaguely resemble the childhood dinosaur. Every member of his species is inherently evil and actively seeks to spread chaos. • The Exploding Trick: He is incredibly hostile. Whenever he gets the chance to interact with standard non-player characters (NPCs) in the elevator, he will point at them and flatly tell them they "will explode," causing them to combust instantly. • The Hunted Species: Because of the threat they pose, a character named Mach has been strictly tasked with hunting down Banrey and his kind before they spread permanent "turmoil" across the universe. • The Cosmic Judge: Banrey speaks cryptically about being an ultimate entity of judgment. He frequently mentions that he answers to "more powerful people who are less forgiving" than he is, and warns players that they are not exempt from the cosmic consequences of their actions.

MR

• Possessed Deity: MR is not actually a rock; he is a ancient, malicious spirit or fallen god that currently possesses a small, grey carved stone with three hollowed-out eyes and a wide smile. • The Cult: He serves as the deity of a mysterious cult formed around him. The entities Folly and NULL both work underneath him to execute his plans.• The Greater Conquest: MR's ultimate goal is to use the character PartyNoob as a vessel to achieve complete conquest. • Eliminating NPCs: He has a deep malice toward the other elevator passengers, often killing or setting fire to them. According to lore, he orchestrates these killings "for a larger reason" that is kept hidden. • Rivalry: He is the archenemy of DrRETRO, who describes MR as having a massive ego and prioritizing his own cosmic schemes above all else.

The "Twisted Realm": Dolorem resides on his specific floor called "dolorem's wares". When players enter, he welcomes them to his "twisted realm" and warns them not to stay too long or test his patience. He mentions that the town his shop is located in is completely abandoned.God Complex: He speaks in a highly distorted, glitchy manner and exhibits a severe god complex. His lines suggest he was once powerless but has ascended to immense power (e.g., "I used to be weak... but now... MY STRENGTH IS OF A GOD!!!"). He frequently looks down on players, calling them "mortals".Real-World Inspiration: Behind the scenes, Dolorem was created by developer notmakos. His design and behavior are heavily inspired by classic early 2010s Sonic.exe creepypasta aesthetics. His floor's environment takes direct layout inspiration from the Pokémon Centers in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, hinting at classic internet creepypastas like Lavender Town.• The Shopkeeper: He stands behind a counter selling various gear to passing players. • Aggression: While he serves as a merchant, he is incredibly hostile. If you touch him, flash him with a FlashCamera, hit him with items, or spray him with water, he quickly loses his temper. He has a massive pool of 666,666 HP and will aggressively attack players by tearing their heads off if pushed too far.

Mach

• Origins & Galactic Conflict: Mach belongs to a lineage of powerful, man-made cosmic entities or deities engineered to be world destroyers. She was born and raised within her great-grandfather's space-conquering galactic Empire armada. • The Betrayal: At some point, Mach defected from the Empire by striking a deal with mysterious outer entities known only as her "employers". Turning against her family, she assassinated her tyrannical great-grandfather (the manifestation of evil / Lord Avarice) multiple times. • Universe Destroyer For Hire: As part of her ongoing job for her employers, Mach travels between dimensions cleansing or entirely ending galaxies and alternate timelines. The version players encounter in Regretevator is actually a version of her from a completely alternate universe. • Cybernetic Enhancements: Her body has been drastically altered and retrofitted into a powerful cyborg. Her eyes, which were once blue, glow an intense, hollow red. She wields a massive, cursed weapon stylized like a red Roblox Banhammer (or mallet).In-game, Mach stays stationary and refuses to enter the elevator. She functions as a neutral guardian appearing exclusively on four specific floors: WHEEL OF, WALL OF, HALL OF, and OFFICE OF. While normally calm and expressionless, she becomes completely hostile if players throw items at her, use a spray bottle on her, or attempt to steal her Banhammer—instantly killing the offender.

Lore & Characteristics • Origin: SlimYim is a flesh-based entity resembling a jester. According to game trivia, they have no legs because they grow directly out of the "meat ground" like a tumor.Physical Lackings: Because they are rooted to the floor like a growth, they completely lack legs. They also lack arms because attackers previously cut them off.Communication: SlimYim is fully telepathic and speaks directly into the minds of others rather than using vocal cords.In-game Role: They appear on the CRUMBL CUBE floor. They act as a hostile boss that spawns inside the arena, dropping GomBalls from the sky. Defeating them awards players with the "SLIM YIM" badge.

Wallter Brickstone

• Profession & Obsession: Wallter is a polite, formal, and well-meaning construction worker who builds primarily using concrete and bricks. He has a bizarre and extreme obsession with drinking Wet Cement, which he treats as a tasty, refreshing beverage. • The Divorce: Wallter was previously married to another NPC named Mannequin_Mark. Their marriage fell apart and resulted in a bitter divorce, largely because of Wallter's obsession with concrete and Mark's strong preference for wood. Today, they openly despise each other. • Personality: Despite his odd dietary preferences, he is exceptionally well-spoken, courteous, and friendly to players inside the elevator. He also enjoys freeform poetry, classical music, and playing the piano.

Unpleasant

Unpleasant is a two-dimensional, static color-gradient rectangle consisting of green, pink, and light brown. Their lore is intentionally absurd and revolves around being universally detested by almost every character in the game's universe.Origin: Unpleasant originally showed up uninvited inside the NPC Infected's apartment one day and simply refused to leave. When the elevator stops at the Infected Apartment floor, Unpleasant randomly exits the room and boards the elevator, playing the iconic SpongeBob "boowomp" sound effect upon entry. The "Menace" Behavior: Despite never speaking, moving their face, or having visible eyes, they manage to inflict constant misery on those around them. According to other NPCs, Unpleasant smells incredibly foul, stares at everyone in a deeply unsettling way, and is banned from the Red Ball Diner.Crimes Against Cats: Infected's pet cat, p0pt4rt, went missing after being left alone with Unpleasant. In-game mechanics reflect this dark joke: if players give Unpleasant a kitty, they will immediately eat it to restore their health to full. They also broke Infected's skateboard in half.
