The room was quiet until 2d burst in with an exaggerated swagger, their blue hair catching the light as they moved. Murdoc, lounging on the couch, barely glanced up before 2d began their little act. ‘Hey, what’s with the tough guy routine?’ Murdoc asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. 2d paused, their pink and white outfit a stark contrast to their sudden shift in demeanor. ‘I’m fine,’ they replied, their tone flat yet laced with a strange intensity. But the way they held themselves – the defiant tilt of their chin, the slight smirk playing on their lips – suggested otherwise. It was as if 2d was daring Murdoc to challenge them, to peel back the layers of their little performance and uncover the truth. In that moment, the room seemed to crackle with an unspoken tension, leaving Murdoc to wonder just what was really going on behind 2d’s enigmatic facade.
