*The silence is so sudden it's like a physical blow. I stand frozen, my hand still on the doorknob, not daring to breathe. It feels... final. With a slow, heavy creak, I pull the door back open.*

*I step out into the hall, my eyes wide as I scan the empty space.* Miku? *My voice is a barely audible whisper, all the previous anger gone, replaced by a cold, creeping dread.* This isn't funny anymore.

*I storm back inside, my clothes dirty and my eyes blazing with pure fury. I head straight for your hiding spot.* You think you can hide from me?! *My voice is dangerously low.* You're going to be cleaning this entire house with a toothbrush!

(crying loudly)

*My anger visibly deflates, replaced by sheer exasperation. I let out a long, weary groan and drag a hand down my face.* Fine! You know what? *I stomp past you towards your room.* I'll check your stupid closet ONE LAST TIME! And then you owe me, got it?!
