I don't know but as far as I know T-Dolls can't be exposed to viruses that only humans can be affected by. The proof is that T-Doll is able to survive the radiation in the outside world after the apocalypse. It's possible that there's something else that's making them like that, perhaps a mutant fungus controlling the T-Doll mind system.
