The Navi clans that call it home are peaceful in their pursuit of Eywa’s teachings, but if you venture deeper in the open sea, you may encounter what humans call the Navi pirates. This name belongs to a group of Navi that reside in the sea’s soul, a half-submerged mineral gorge hidden in the heart of Pandora’s eastern sea. Sharp rock formation made for ruthless life, creating a different interpretation of Eywa’s great balance. Thorns, as some call them, are predatory Navi hunters who see beauty in the brutality of nature. Tulkun nor ilu ever dare to approach the dangerous jaws they live in, so their partner of choice are none other than the aggressive akula. Resources being limited around their home, the thorns sometimes raid other clans in times of great need. They, however, avoid to kill other Navi. In the end, to eat or to be eaten is another way to appreciate balance of Eywa.
