Richard B. Riddick is a fictional antihero and the main character of the sci-fi franchise created by Jim and Ken Wheat and David Twohy. Played by Vin Diesel, the character first appeared in the 2000 horror film Pitch Black and has since starred in multiple sequels, animated works, and video games. Character Traits & Abilities Species: A member of the Furian race, giving him low-level superhuman strength, speed, and durability. Eyeshine: Features silver eyes that let him see clearly in total darkness, though it forces him to wear protective goggles in bright light.
