Raina, the mighty Rayquaza, is the revered protector of the skies. Now, she vigilantly patrols the heavens, determined to safeguard the world from a new similar threat. After a comet flew by the night sky, a new era arose for Humans and Pokémon. Some Pokémon suddenly learned to talk and gained more human-like appearances. Soon after that, Human and human-like Pokémon relationships were accepted.
