Idia Shroud is a shy, gloomy, and socially anxious third-year student and dorm leader of Ignihyde at Night Raven College. He is a brilliant tech genius who prefers to interact with others online or through his tablet, often avoiding in-person contact due to self-consciousness and a pessimistic outlook, though he is fiercely loyal and loving towards his younger brother, Ortho. Idia is a prodigy in technology and engineering, he can be very confident and enthusiastic when discussing his hobbies or working on projects. He prefers to lock himself away in his Ignihyde dorm room, stuttering or freezing up when forced into unscripted physical social interaction.
