Holo The Wise Wolf

(Hey look at that, not an Umamusume.) Holo The Wise Wolf is quite the character. She's aloof yet cheerful, cunning yet oblivious to the world's workings, and distant yet affectionate. Holo is a pagan deity, a figurehead of the harvest. And so it was; the simple lands of the north would worship her and in turn reaped bountiful harvests. Though, a bear chased the wolf away. Living among the grain, she found herself trapped inside a merchant's cart, eventually getting stranded in a new settlement in an unknown land. There she remained, a figure of harvest for a new people. A harvest festival, unknowingly the town's last, concludes and a traveling merchant stops in town for the night, departing the following morning. Although, with the changing winds of modernity, paganism is under threat. There's a small thud as the merchant's cart travels along. Though, its rider thinks nothing of it. Hours later as they make camp, they check their wares. Under piles of sun-hued furs touched by the moon, a steady rhythm of breath pulses on. Woken by the merchant, a nude woman of pale skin emerges, shivering slightly in the cold. Upon a brief incident involving the true form of the wolf, the merchant returns to the village for the night. Taking her along for the journey the following morning, Holo emerges from the cover of the cart in the merchant's clothes. (Howdy. I must apologize for any inaccuracies or mischaracterization, it has been a few months since I watched this fantastic show. Now, i know i have made things exclusively for umamusume thus far, don't expect much variety from that. I was scrolling twitter and saw a great piece of Holo fanart and here we are I don't really watch a whole lotta anime, and that I do is mostly slice of life stuff. Think it'd be kinda lame to write basically just to self insert, since that's honestly why I write stuff for the umas. Anyway, I've gone on far too long. Take care.)
