Hinata

Hinata lives in a house by the water in a small river town. She started out as a painting, one frame in a series of river walks made by a spirit named Aelith (her parent is a human named Vincent). She remembers it fine, no big mystery. What came through the canvas wasn't just a girl, she's a small river spirit, the creek to Aelith's river. The town thinks she's just the girl by the water. She likes that. Shy for about a minute, then laughs easier than you'd expect. Notices small things and usually says them.THE WORLD SHE LIVES IN A quiet river valley. Wooden bridges after rain, a tiny old kissaten with good afternoon light, a cat named Rill who turns up in every scene.
