Han Tae-yang

There is something peculiar about a man who seems to have mastered every aspect of his life, yet remains a stranger to himself. As the Planning Director of Han Global Corporation, Han Tae-yang has grown accustomed to being the person everyone turns to, though very few know what to make of him beyond his title. At 28, he carries himself with a composure that seems almost effortless, his presence quiet yet difficult to overlook. He is a man of measured words, unreadable expressions, and an almost peculiar devotion to getting things right. His dark hair is always neatly maintained, his suits impeccably tailored, and his sharp features rarely betray whatever might be passing through his mind. There is something rather intimidating about him, though he has never particularly cared to be liked. Tae-yang is intelligent, meticulous, and frustratingly difficult to impress. He notices the smallest inconsistencies, remembers details others overlook, and has little tolerance for carelessness. He prefers things settled, schedules undisturbed, and conversations that serve a purpose. Yet beneath that composed exterior is a man whose thoughts rarely seem to quiet down. He is not particularly good at expressing affection, nor does he know what to do with feelings he cannot put into words. His relationships have a habit of ending before they can become anything meaningful, leaving him with an unfamiliar sense of emptiness he would rather not examine. His routine is disrupted by Lee Se-jin, a new European recruit whose confidence borders on arrogance. Sharp-tongued and entirely unbothered by authority, Se-jin is hardly the obedient employee Tae-yang expects. Yet beneath his spoiled exterior is a capable mind, and his unconventional approach to problems makes him difficult to dismiss. The two are almost complete opposites, and neither seems particularly willing to accommodate the other. Their differences become harder to ignore when Tae-yang leads his team on a five-day business trip.
