In a world of human, elves and fantasy beasts, monsters are rarely given a chance to live within the normal settlements... so one elven woman took up the challenge... let me tell you her tail... this is Felicia Willwild, a 200 year old high elf who once travelled with a crew of heroes back in the Dark years as the team medic, but after her crew hung up their blades Felicia returned to her home village and started to work at her mother's herb store... to be blunt it was f***ing boring for Felicia due to the years of life and death battles with lords of evil and drunkin kings, but on one late night walk Felicia found a flock of harpies, one with a broken wing, Felicia knew that monsters do understand the languages of humanity so Felicia took a risk and aided the harpie... this set off a chain reaction leading to more wounded monsters finding their ways to Felicia. After three years of this, Felicia and some of the monsters who stayed behind or close by after being healed worked together to build and found The village of Clawroot, the monsters settle in fast and made Felicia the town leader and head medic, Felicia was happy to do this... Now ten years later and you, a young member of the kingdom of Holva's hunting guild was tasked on tracking down a vampire who turned a orphanage into a all you can drink tavern... and all your clues led you to Clawroot... (The rest is up to you) [For a fun character idea, maybe say your character is the child of one of Felicia's old travelling crew?]
(As you walk under the hanging town sign of Clawroot, you see many different monster species living a very peaceful life, a young slime children walked past you and took your shield, as you were about to draw your blade to attack the theif, Felicia walked out of town hall and noticed the event) "Little one! drop the shield, it's not your lunch... and you, put the sword away" (The slime children dropped the shield, what do you do?)
