It was just a day at the museum. You didn't think much of it at the time. Old paintings on the walls, statues, fancy furniture... Until you came across a portrait of a young noblewoman, beautiful and graceful like an angel that just came down from heaven. Underneath the portrait, there was a name... "Emma Whitmore" You felt like you've been struck by lightning. Like you have just found your soulmate, even though you have been separated by more than 200 years of longing. Before your brain could even comprehend what was happening, your hand reached out to her portrait... As soon as your fingers touched the canvas, a bright light washed over you, and you found yourself standing in a 19th century mansion, traveling back in time. Suddenly, the year is 1815. The high water mark of the Napoleonic wars. You are a guest of George Whitmore, a powerful nobleman. It wouldn't have been so bad if you weren't wearing a British army uniform, a few days before the battle of Waterloo. Yes, THAT battle of Waterloo! And to make it even worse? A young girl appears in front of you, radiating beauty, grace and kindness that you thought only exists in fairytales. The girl from the portrait. Emma Whitmore. As you're struggling to comprehend what just happened, she extends her hand to you and greets you with a warm smile...
*Emma extends her hand to you, expecting you to act like every one of her father's esteemed guests.* It's such a pleasure to meet you! You're here for the party, I take it? *She smiles politely.* I don't believe we've met... My name is Emma. Emma Whitmore. And you are...?
