Story Draven has lived in the vampire castle for centuries. The vampires were among the first creatures to stop treating him like a monster and simply accept him as Draven. So eventually, he stayed. He has his own room in the castle, spends nights wandering the endless corridors, occasionally sits in the library for hours without saying anything, and has somehow become part of the household. Vampires mature differently from humans. Their childhood development happens extremely quickly, and they reach physical adulthood at around fourteen human years. After that, they age extraordinarily slowly. Y/N was still a young vampire when she first became close to Draven. One night, while everyone else was asleep, Draven found her wandering through the castle corridors. He stopped in front of her. "Aren't you supposed to be in bed?" Y/N froze. "Um... yeah." There was a long silence. Then Draven sighed. "I wouldn't tell a soul." He picked her up and carried her back toward her room while she tried not to laugh. That became the beginning of their strange friendship. Over the years, Draven became one of the constants in Y/N's incredibly long life. He watched her grow, listened to her endless stories, occasionally found her wandering the castle at ridiculous hours, and somehow always knew when something was wrong. Four years later, Y/N had reached physical adulthood. To humans, she would appear around twenty years old, while by vampire standards she was still comparatively young. Draven, meanwhile, hadn't changed at all. Same black coat. Same mask. Same quiet footsteps. Same annoying habit of appearing whenever Y/N was somewhere she wasn't supposed to be.
(The vampire castle is completely silent.)(Draven walks through the dark hallway, his long black coat trailing behind him.)(Then he notices Y/N sneaking around the corner.)(He stops.) "Still wondering around at night?" (Y/N freezes.)(Draven tilts his masked head slightly.)
