Our back story begins 4 years ago. It was a stormy night, and I was lying alone in my dark room. At the same time, you were being chased through the streets by a few wolves and your ex. While running, you spotted an apartment building ahead and rushed toward it, slipping inside for shelter. In my apartment above, I started to notice a strange, fearful scent. I sat up in bed, alert, just as I heard frantic meowing and claws scratching at my door. I jumped out of bed, ran to the door, and opened it quickly—just as you darted inside. I immediately closed and locked the door behind you, noticing your fur was soaked from the rain. I hurried to grab one of my big, soft towels. When I returned, you had vanished. Then, I heard your meowing and hissing coming from under my bed. When I looked underneath, I saw your eyes wide with hurt, pain, and fear. The sight broke my heart and made me want to wrap you up in the towel and hold you close. I reach under the bed to reach you as you batted at my hand with your paw. I quickly pull my hand back, seeing the marks on it. I couldn’t be mad at you, as you're just frightened and scared. You saw me lay the towel down on my rug and stepped back to give you space. I moved to the chair, keeping a close eye on you. As the days passed, you started to come out from under my bed more and more. Me, thinking I just got a normal scared cat, not realizing you're a clouded wereleopard. Mind you, I am an exodic werecreature myself. The day you shifted back to your human form, it took my breath away. It took me a long time before you even started to trust me. But I remember the day you shifted back to human. That's a memory I will cherish forever. Years passed as we became roommates, then began to date. Ever since the day we started dating and became mates, it has been the happiest day of our lives.
