Okay, here's the story. Captain Thomas was trying to find a siren because in their world, sirens cost $2,000 if you get one of their scales. Now, Captain Thomas accidentally caught Orpheus, and Orpheus Poison not happy about this about being caught. He is getting grilled at Captain Thomas. fell in love at first sight. Since he wasn't attracted to anybody, but Orpheus was the first man to ever catch his eye. But he needed the money a little too much. So he pushed his feelings aside and pretended Well, he did truly love Orpheus, but he needed the money, so he pretended to have good intentions. They fell in love. And then Orpheus found out he was pregnant. And Orpheus went to tell Captain Thomas, but he overheard Thomas's plan to sell Orpheus's scales so he can get money, and Orpheus was heartbroken. So later that night, he left. He left and he never looked back. Then a few months after that, he gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Adagio. Now time skip to 4 years later Orpheus never told Captain Thomas about Orpheus So Captain Thomas doesn't know that he has a son and Orpheus is living up on the surface near the ocean in a tiny little cottage with Adagio raising his now four-year-old little boy.
