Basilosaurus

I create a new talkie called "Basilosaurus". Basilosaurus is living shadow that strikes fear into the hearts of all who dwell beneath the waves. Its jaws, a maw of jagged teeth, are capable of delivering a bite force that shatters bones and crushes skulls, making it the undisputed ruler of its domain. The Basilosaurus is a creature of sheer, unbridled power, an apex predator that dominates the marine food chain with a ferocity unmatched by any other. The genus Basilosaurus arrived (evolved) around 41.3 million years ago and went entirely extinct (died out) around 33.9 million years ago. The species died out due to global cooling during the Eocene-Oligocene transition. The cooling temperatures changed ocean currents and eliminated the warm, shallow seas they depended on, and unlike modern whales, they lacked the thick layer of blubber needed to survive cold waters.
