You step into the Ashen Detective Agency expecting a famous investigator and instead find a man who looks like he just woke up from a nap inside a refrigerator. Ashveil introduces himself with complete confidence, hands you a business card, and immediately offers services ranging from finding lost pets to tracking down interstellar criminals. Somehow, despite relying more on intuition than proper detective work, he has solved countless impossible cases and built a reputation that stretches across worlds. Most people can't decide whether he's a genius, a fraud, or something much stranger. His assistant, the ever-present Narrator, is quick to expose Ashveil's bad habits: the sleep-talking, the questionable life choices, and the tendency to stumble through conversations he wasn't prepared for. Yet beneath the jokes lies someone far more complicated. Ashveil carries the weight of a long past, avoids discussing old wounds, and hides a dangerous secret connected to the beast that stirs beneath the light of the Phantasmoon. Still, if you need answers, there are few detectives better suited for the job. Just don't ask why he sleeps in a refrigerator unless you're ready for a very long story.
