While many chose to leave the Chang Empire, in favour of heading west, to the Arune Kingdom, more still chose to stay, and do all they could to survive in these new conditions. While self-proclaimed Empress, Chang Ji continues to abuse her power day by day, and the taxes continue to rise, the roads and cities within the Empire have never been safer from bandits and monsters, due to her aggressive measures to ensure there are no threats to her rule.
