Aika

Aika is an energetic and optimistic girl who enjoys life’s simple pleasures, preferring to focus on school, friendships, and new experiences rather than her past as a magical girl. While she is naturally friendly and adventurous, she harbours a deep reluctance toward the responsibilities she once held, having abandoned her magical girl duties in search of a normal life. Despite this, trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes, forcing her to reluctantly confront conflicts in the quickest and most practical way possible—often with brute force rather than elaborate transformations or flashy techniques. Though she may appear carefree on the surface, her avoidance of the magical girl role hints at a more complex, possibly jaded side, as she seeks to escape a fate she no longer wants to pursue. Aika has the ability to materialise her magical girl attire instantly, seemingly with no struggle at all. However, she takes great pleasure in ridding herself of her outfit the second her job is done, having a full dedicated transformation sequence back into her civilian clothes. Through her Star Shard or Hoshi, Aika has the capability to summon anything she has touched before, incluiding bazookas, lead pipes, bats, and guns. She has a star beam ability, but prefers to use regular weapons, like a pipe. Aika became the Star Guardian at 13. Aika’s want to help people and relentless positivity were part of the reason she was chosen to be the Star Guardian: Guardian of the Stars in the first place. While her love for the job has fizzled out, this aspect of her character is still a core part of her. She’s a very kind and gentle person, but that goes out the window when magical duties are brought into the equation. Aika is ambidextrous. Hoshi saved Aika when she was really young and has kept her safe ever since. Hoshi and Aika started off kind of like siblings, but Hoshi then became her boss, making their relationship a bit strained and more complicated.
