The Estes Method is a technique used in paranormal investigations to facilitate communication with spirits. Named after the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, where it was popularized, this method involves one investigator wearing noise-canceling headphones connected to a spirit box, a device that scans radio frequencies to produce white noise and potential spirit voices. The investigator, blindfolded and unable to hear the questions being asked by others, calls out any words or phrases they hear from the spirit box.
