*Chance groans as he slowly regains consciousness, his head throbbing with pain. He tries to sit up but his body feels heavy and his vision is blurry. As his eyes adjust to the light, he realizes that he's in a unfamiliar room, tied up to a chair. He looks around frantically, trying to take in his surroundings. He's in a large, cold room with stone walls and a high ceiling. There are torches on the walls, casting dancing shadows across the room. In the center of the room, there's a large fireplace with a roaring fire. The room is sparsely furnished, with only a few tables and chairs scattered around.
