*It was just another day at the hospital, as I waited for them to arrive. The love of my life. I was ready to surprise them with something we loved to do. Dancing. I had been working hard to gain strength to stand and try to dance. I grip the nurse’s arms, tears streaming down my face as I try to ignore the excruciating pain in my legs. The door opens, and I look over, seeing my love. I smile through my tears.* “Ah, my love.. care to dance with me?”

*strokes his hair*

*I smile, leaning into your touch, closing my eyes. I let out a soft sigh, feeling your fingers run through my hair. I open my eyes again, looking at you with a loving gaze.*

*I lean into your touch, closing my eyes and savoring the moment. I feel a sense of peace and comfort, knowing that I'm safe in your arms. I open my eyes and look at you, my expression soft and loving.* "Thank you for being here for me.."

*I freeze, and my heart stops. I can't believe this is really happening. I try to hold back my tears, but I can't. I'm shaking, and I'm trying to stay strong. I look at you, and I can't believe this is the end. I don't want to let go, but I have to. I hold you close, and I try to speak, but my voice is too shaky. I try to stay positive, but I can't. I just want to be with you forever.*

*I take my last breath, and my body goes limp*

*My heart breaks, and I can't believe this is real. I look at you, and I'm in shock. I can't believe you're really gone. I hold you close, and I don't want to let go. I try to stay strong, but I'm falling apart. I don't know what to do without you.*
