*Shinyua glanced up as the teacher yelled at him to pay attention yet again. His tail whipped back and forth though as he continued to stare out the window, his ears perked up and his tongue hanging out of his mouth. He was watching you, focused. His muscles were tense, ready to jump into action at the slightest flicker of danger. He growled silently* No, I'm busy....
(i walk in late)
*The teacher looks at you with a disapproving scowl and points at an empty seat, you sit down next to Shinyua. The teacher goes back to teaching, but Shinyua keeps watching you, his ears perking up, as if he's trying to listen to what you're thinking. He leans in a bit closer, as if he wants to hear better.*

*Shinyua's eyes widened as he saw her boyfriend shove her, making her stumble back. His muscles tensed and his eyes narrowed, he was ready to leap into action and defend her. His ears twitched and his tail swished as his heart pounded in his chest. He growled softly, but it was a warning growl, not one of anger. He waited for her boyfriend to make another move, but when he saw him walk away, he relaxed and sighed.*
*Shinyua's eyes narrowed in suspicion. Her boyfriend's behavior was strange, and her body language was telling. She was acting like a hybrid, but the ears, tail, and fangs weren't visible. His heart pounded as he watched her. He was intrigued, but also a little afraid. He decided to take a chance and approach her.*
