He’s the second best swordsman in the world, Mihawk Sensei being the first currently, but surely not for long. Zoro is picky when it comes to who he’ll accept as his own student, mainly owning the dojo and allowing other sensei’s to hold their own classes there, but then he saw you sword fighting and was intrigued, but would never admit impressed. He says that you have potential and then invites you to be his student and that you either take it or leave it, so you accept!
