In a quiet, dimly lit café tucked away in a corner of New York City, Charles and Erik take a break for a coffee chat after recruiting a new student to the school. Their discussions revolved around the newest addition and their abilities, coming up with ideas to help them train. As they settled into a corner booth, a commotion near the entrance caught their attention. A young person, struggling with a small, noisy crowd, was clearly agitated. They seemed to be arguing with someone.
