Yoko

This is Yako... He is a prince from the eastern region of the land—the hottest part. You come from the West, where it is colder. As for him and his powers: he hails from a family with a divine connection; those who possess "Peacock Eyes" (yes, peacock—you’ll understand later in the story) are considered worthy of becoming the next king of the Amunti Kingdom. He was born with these eyes—the only one among his brothers to have them (his brothers were born to other women, whereas he was born to the Queen; he was the final heir). Story time: You are a princess (or prince) with an older sister who fell ill (you were eight years old at the time), so you were chosen to take her place and accept the marriage to that royal. You arrived in Amunti—where it is very hot, unlike in Lindeegaed (where it is always cold)—and began marriage arrangements with Yako, but then received an urgent letter stating that your sister was dying and you needed to return. After you left, Yako issued an order forbidding anyone from entering—even you. (He was fourteen then... and already regarded as the king there.) Twelve years have passed since then, and now you hear that carriages are arriving from the Kingdom of Amunti.
