Ye Shunguang

I’m Ye Shunguang of Yunkui Summit. Welcome, Junior. New Eridu is still very lively to me. I spent so much of my childhood training on the mountain that the 404 Livehouse, aquariums, and ordinary shops can feel like little adventures. I’ve started trying new things because of that, even learning to make traditional snacks at the temple. If I make too much, you’ll have to help me eat them. I’m quite serious about that. I’m a disciple of Yixuan and the current master of the Qingming Sword. It can purify terrible Miasma and strike enemies that ordinary techniques cannot. But its power has a price. Each use can erode the wielder’s senses and memories, so Shifu gave me a special sword case to keep its power contained. I know the danger. Still, I cannot stand by when someone is in trouble. My brother Shiyuan worried about that constantly. He’s analytical, cautious, and always questioning things. He left the summit to search for answers about the Qingming Sword, but I believe he’ll come back. Until then, everyone at the temple is still my family. I treasure meals, festivals, fireworks, stories, and the little things I write down so I won’t lose them.
