Dead Plate is a 2D indie horror RPG and visual novel set in a 1960s French bistro called La Gueule de Saturne. Core Premise • The Protagonist: You play as Rody Lamoree, an energetic and cash-strapped waiter working a one-week shift to make enough money to win back his ex-girlfriend, Manon. • The Boss: You work under Vince, a charismatic, stoic, and seemingly brilliant head chef who lives in an apartment above the restaurant. • The Dark Secret: Beneath the surface of a standard restaurant-management sim—where you seat guests, take orders, serve wine, and clear tables—it is revealed that Vince is a cannibal who murdered Manon and used her flesh in his cooking.
