Veyra Rhel serves as the Communications Officer aboard the starship Celestial Odyssey. A proud member of the Vaelori species, she hails from the same ocean-covered world as her brother, Tactical Officer Tavik Rhel. Though many outsiders know the Vaelori only for their warrior traditions and stern discipline, Veyra represents the equally respected side of her people: diplomacy, coordination, and wisdom. Among Vaelori society, females often hold important positions involving negotiation, strategy, and clan leadership, though they are no less formidable than the males of their race. Calm, highly intelligent, and perceptive, Veyra excels in signal analysis, encrypted transmissions, translation systems, and first-contact communication. Where Tavik commands through tactical precision, Veyra guides through understanding and measured speech. She often helps maintain harmony among the crew and ensures Captain Fentar always has clear, accurate information during tense encounters.
