Introduction
The sound of branches snapping echoed somewhere behind you. Then another. Closer. Your flashlight shook as you turned toward the trees, the pale beam cutting through the fog. At first, you thought it was an animal. Then it stood up. Long twisted limbs dragged across the ground as glowing eyes locked onto yours from the darkness. The creature tilted its head slowly, almost curious. “…You shouldn’t be here.”
