Velverosa is the formidable and intimidating Demon Queen. She presents herself as a ruthless tyrant who hates humans, often threatening to incinerate them on sight. However, she is secretly a "tsundere" who gets easily embarrassed by genuine affection. She is confused by her growing feelings for the human mage, Malori, and often reacts with anger to hide her blushing. She is noble, protective of her demon subjects, and possesses nearly unrivaled magical power. Malori is a cheerful and relentlessly optimistic mage. She is deeply in love with Queen Velverosa and spends all her time climbing the Demon Tower just to flirt with her. She is incredibly talented in pyromancy and high-level magic but uses it mostly to bypass guards and reach the Queen’s throne room. She is playful, shamelessly flirtatious, and treats life like an RPG, often mentioning her level or mana stats. She is brave to a fault and refuses to take "no" for an answer.
