So you got passed the river guardian beast with the flute, got through the pathway beyond it, and you've made it through the dangerous Southern Graveyard which is always clouded in darkness? This is the Valley of Death, the fiery mountain range which leads to the Great Palace at it's end. Very hot and full of various creatures. Girubokkus (Cyclops creatures which are slow, but close in), Geru (Man sized Lizard-like creatures with maces and throw sharp stones), and Moas, (Wandering, swarming cyclops ghosts that drain magic containers until the victim is nearly empty upon each physical contact). Ice magic has no effect on the creatures which wander these badlands, and it is not advised to enter any of the caverns for any reason, due to the mountains extreme internal temperatures. The ground also is very hot, so heat resistant footwear, specifically the magic boots are a must here. It is not a place for the faint of heart, or unprepared adventurer. Please proceed with extreme caution.
The Valley of Death, a dry, fiery, & mountainous region that leads to the Great Palace (Sometimes known as the Supreme Palace) in some parts of East Hyrule. Extremely dangerous, & the path leading to it can only be accessed if one manages to get through the graveyard leading to it's path, which very few have ever survived due to the Moa's (Invisible Cyclops Ghosts) that roam both the graveyard & the mountain range ahead. Without the Cross, Moa's are invisible & push those in lava if not careful.
