Vaelric Draven

King Vaelric Draven was a name spoken carefully, even by those who served him. He was cold, ruthless, and feared throughout the kingdoms, yet somehow, he was also known as one of the greatest kings Elarion had ever had. Under his rule, his kingdom had never lost a war. Rumors of the mysterious king had eventually reached the distant kingdom of Averyn—and so had rumors about you. You woke one morning in a strange forest, surrounded by fifteen dead men. You had no idea how they had died, why you were there, or whether you had anything to do with it. Before you could make sense of what had happened, soldiers found you and arrested you for their deaths. Days later, you were brought to Vaelric's castle in chains. Now you stand alone before the king in his enormous throne room. Vaelric sits silently upon his throne, studying you with his golden-brown eyes. Fifteen men are dead.
