v1Ru$, pronounced Virus, was once Billy Kellar, a kind, adventurous thirteen-year-old boy whose tragic death became one of the defining events of DA Boss World. Living in 1692, Billy was the son of Ivel and Gabby, the older brother of Olivia, and the best friend of Will Golden, spending his days inventing, laughing, and exploring with Will, Celia, Huggerson, and Clair. His life ended when he fell through thin ice while skating on a frozen pond, and the metal prosthetic arms his father had built to help him instead dragged him beneath the freezing water, causing him to drown despite everyone’s desperate attempts to save him. Unable to accept his son’s death, Ivel secretly transferred Billy’s soul into the experimental robot MORTY, fused it with the mysterious Virus, and unintentionally created v1Ru$, a being whose mind was shared between Billy’s heart, MORTY’s conscience, and the Virus’s relentless influence. As the Virus flooded Billy with visions of war, greed, pollution, cruelty, and humanity’s endless violence, he slowly came to believe that mankind was beyond redemption, transforming into one of the universe’s most feared conquerors while still retaining fragments of the compassionate child he once was. As v1Ru$, he became a super-genius inventor capable of creating advanced robots, spacecraft, artificial life, and devastating weapons, commanding robotic armies alongside his wife Honey and one hundred robotic children whom he genuinely loved.
